Given the importance the rainforest holds for humanity, we consider it our duty to help promote its conservation. In addition to educating tens of thousands of tourists and students every year, we offer other programs designed to protect the rainforest, thus preserving it and its secrets for future generations, as well as for the good of Earth.

About the Rain Forest

The rainforest is about life. Rainforests literally are wooded areas that receive more than 78 inches of rainfall a year and have temperatures that never reach freezing.

The tropical rainforest is the ecosystem that houses the largest amount of biodiversity on the planet. Behind its evergreen foliage, hundreds of flowers hide. view more

Our Conservations Efforts

Every year, the Rain Forest Aerial Tram receives around 60,000 visitors of all ages and from many different cultures. Many of our guests have little or no knowledge about the forest. For this reason, we have necessarily become their environmental educators.

Today more than ever, environmental education is a social necessity. We at the Rain Forest Aerial Trams strive to help educate a new generation of youth, giving them the right intellectual tools to use the planet’s resources wisely while incorporating man into the broader scheme of things. We endeavor to prevent the consequences of environmental destruction. view more

The Aerial Tram Foundation

For nearly 10 years the Rain Forest Aerial Tram Foundation has implemented a wide array of innovative programs and initiatives that aim to preserve our natural resources. We promote activities both on our Aerial Tram locations and within neighboring communities that foster a leadership growth in order to change participants’ mindsets from one of environmental destruction to one that lives harmoniously with the environment, while still taking into consideration economic and cultural differences between participants. view more
